Childrens Martial Arts was developed about 50 years ago. However, it is made up of various Korean Martial Arts that have existed for centuries. Childrens Martial Arts is renowned for its distinctive kicking techniques and has a strong international following.

There are 2 distinct styles of Childrens Martial Arts. WTF style, which incorporates mainly kicking techniques and is the sport seen in the Olympics, and ITF which balances foot and hand techniques. The style studied at SPSMA is ITF.

Childrens Martial Arts encompasses kicking, punching, blocking, self defence, traditional techniques, stretching, strengthening and much more. Martial Arts is enjoyed by many people and is good for children teaching them respect, self confidence and discipline.
